We are excited to start a walking group next Saturday, September 10th at 8:00 am. We will meet at Waterfall Park at 51st and Merriam Dr. That is the beginning of a nearly four-mile paved path along Turkey Creek Streamway. There are several points to turn around if walking the full eight miles is not your thing. Bikes are also allowed on the path.
One possible stop is the Farmer's Market which, for this date only, will be held at the Irene B. French Community Center from 7am to 1pm. The Merriam Marketplace (5740 Merriam Dr.) will be hosting the Turkey Creek Car and Motorcycle Show from 10am to 4pm, which is another opportunity for a break on your way back to the car.
