True or False - Wrist and Ankle Weights

True or False?  Wearing ankle or wrist weights is a safe way to add intensity to your walks.

False.  Avoid wearing ankle and wrist weights. They can alter your normal movement patterns and increase the risk of injury. If you must add weight to your workout, a weighted vest helps distribute weight more evenly and allows you to move more freely and normally than weights attached to your extremities.
